Creating A Beautiful You, For A Lifetime

Maureen believes that the most important aspect of her career is that she really has a passion for what she does. It gives her great pride to know that she has helped someone look their best, especially someone who might not necessarily be feeling their best, or that she was helped somebody through the day with more self-confidence.

Maureen Donlan is the President and chief technician of Amazing Faces and All Star Nails located in Chicago's Gold Coast.

Our mission is to provide you with a hairstyle that will speak to who you are as a person. Every one of our stylists has a trained eye for fashion and an ear for listening. In other words, we always take note of your wants and needs while offering you input to accentuate your inherent beauty. We are dedicated to providing you with superior hair care and impeccable customer service so you feel refreshed and rejuvenated when you walk out the door.

Maureen has been in the beauty industry since 1988 when she opened Studio 10, a nail salon. She moved her business to Hawaii in the early 90s where her passion for helping woman look and feel beautiful blossomed. When Maureen came back to Chicago she opened All Star Nails and was always on the cutting edge of nail care, being the first technician in the city to introduce new gel products as an alternative to the acrylics primarily used by most in the industry.

Maureen's interest is permanent cosmetics stemmed from the understanding that woman today lead lives that are most active than ever and don't want to have to sacrifice their beauty because they are to busy to attend to it. She knows that women don't necessarily want to spend their precious free time every day re-applying their eyeliner, lip liner, lipstick, and eyebrows and she found an alternative to offer them. Her goal is to simplify the lives of her clients by enhancing their natural beauty with permanent cosmetics. Maureen will be bridging herself into the medical field in order to expand her services to include scar camouflage, areolae tattooing for breast cancer survivors, and cosmetic work specifically for alopecia patients.
